About the Author: Alexsandra Pumphrey

Alexsandra Pumphrey is a children's book author dedicated to creating warm, comforting, and imaginative stories for young readers. Her debut picture book, Rawr Rawr Dinosaur: It's Time to Go to Bed, is a gentle bedtime story for toddlers that supports emotional development, healthy routines, and peaceful nighttime habits.

Alexsandra founded Pumphrey House Media to honor the legacy of her late mother, Regina F. Pumphrey — a preschool teacher for over twenty years who inspired her love for teaching, storytelling, and early childhood education. She also continues her mother's work with Merle the Traveling Girl. Through her books, Alexsandra continues that legacy by helping families create meaningful, joyful memories through the power of story.

A proud member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Alexsandra is committed to producing uplifting stories that nurture young minds, spark imagination, and celebrate the love between parents and children.
